Melting Moments

Hi! Today I made these AWESOME cookies called Melting Moments that I found in my grandma's and grandpa's old cookbook. They are most definitely the BEST COOKIES I'VE EVER HAD. You are missing out if you don't try this recipe :

Melting Moments

What You Need

1/2 cup butter
5 TBS confectioner's sugar
1 TSP almond flavoring
1/4 TSP salt
1 TSP baking powder
1 1/8 cup Gluten Free all-purpose flour (I use my mom's mix of flours which I can post later)

What to do

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2) Mix and roll into balls and mash with fork
3) On ungreased sheet, decorate (I used sprinkles and put them on top)
4) Bake in oven on ungreased sheet for 10 minutes

Enjoy! Please leave a comment and tell me how it was!

Rainbow pops ... yummmmm!

Hey everyone! I found this great recipe on foodgawker.com, and it inspired me to make these popsicles. They may always be gluten free, but I thought you would enjoy! My inspiration was from this recipe: http://crustabakes.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/meet-the-new-popstar-rainbow-pop/

 Rainbow Pops

What you'll need

2 bananas, sliced

9 strawberries, sliced (quantity may vary depending on size)

2 mangos,sliced

6 kiwis,sliced

1 lime

Strawberry Banana flavored Naked Juice

What to do

1) Put bananas in blender with one splash of Naked, and squeeze some lime juice into the blender to preserve the banana's color.

2) Pour the banana into your popsicle molds, making one layer at the bottom of each mold.

3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each fruit, making layers of each fruit until you get to the top of the mold. IMPORTANT: Make sure you go lightest to darkest in color. This way, the colors will look prettier, and you will not have to wash your blender every time you put a new fruit in.

4) If you have lids for your popsicle mold, great! Put them on and stick your pops in the freezer. But if you're like me and my family, you lose stuff like that in an instant. If you don't have lids, you can put tin foil over the pops and stick popsicle sticks through the tin foil.

5) Check on your pops and see if they are frozen. If they are, go ahead and dig into that stick of goodness.

Hope you guys loved this recipe! If there are any improvements you made, please leave a comment! I'd love to hear your ideas!

Hello!

Hey everyone! I hope this blog will be helpful to those of you on a gluten free diet! I will be posting recipes, ratings, tips, and other helpful ideas for you gluten-free dieters! It was pretty tough for me when I started going gluten free. I thought I would never eat a sweet treat or bread again! But i  learned how to make bread, pizza crusts, oatmeal cookies, and even molten Nutella cookies! It's so much fun to bake and prepare these delicious foods. They are even selling more and more gluten free foods in grocery stores and shops. Snyder's of Hanover sells amazing pretzels that are certified gluten free! And Andean Dream Quinoa Cookies. (which are delectable and adventurous) Hopefully you guys give this blog a try and try some of these recipes!
